Rushing River Design, is a small family-owned business that makes beautiful, handmade products for everyday use. We believe that art should not be limited to galleries; but should be used every day. We make a product with our heart and soul-products that will bring happiness into your life and into the homes of others.
Rushing River Design provides home décor using nature to inspire. The goal is to bring nature inside with our home decoration. Rushing River Design is high quality resin Homeware and gifts creating a unique and personalized home decoration. Our goal is to create a product that is meaningful and can be a centerpiece for friends and family.
My Story
.I am for the most part self-taught but have been fortunate enough to develop a network of dear friends and acquaintances to share ideas with as well as to exchange successes (and failures) in this growing mixed medium. For me, one of the best parts about being an artist is that I am always learning. As I continue to develop my own techniques, I find myself wanting to experiment more to see how far I can push the creative boundaries of what I am doing.

My true inspiration working with resin comes from nature, be it the azure blues of the Caribbean waters to the seasonal kaleidoscope of colors from the forests and heavens that provide an endless array of possibilities to capture in my artwork.

Although I do currently hold a traditional 9 – 5 job, my true passion is to spend time in my studio creating artwork and expressing my true self in an environment where time loses all meaning. Creating this art stirs my soul and makes me feel the spark of life.

Never being one to focus in a single direction, my wood/resin artwork is eclectic and diverse creating everything from custom table tops, charcuterie trays, cutting boards, lazy Susans, coasters, jewelry…. and the list goes on. I hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I enjoy creating it.
